if you are just starting off in bmx, you want to have a dialed in bike, but you want it to be very very heavy, mine was 36 lbs. because after you learn the basics like 360’s and barspins and grinds, you can get a light bike and do much better on all of them.
dont worry about lvling out it doesnt matter thay much untill ur hiting jumps
if the bike is so heavy like you say…it isn´t a BMX…
i just said……with heavy bikes you can do the tricks…

try to not so much lean forward, but take some weight off of your pedals. or if you can, just kinda kick up the back tire.

i am stuck on the bunny hop bit! wen i lean forward to level out in the air i go over myhandel bars i have done this about 7 times now and its really starting to hurt! my gt tour bmx dosnt semm to be able to lvl ut got any tips? plz respond=[
I learned old school, long before they had BMK bikes, as we just had regular old 20″ we had stripped down we called free style bikes.
No brakes ( you used your foot on the rear wheel ), no gears, and if you wanted pegs, you had to have someone make them for you, lol
Another way to do a 180 is act like you are you’re going to pop a wheelie, but the instanst the front wheel comes off the ground, yank right or left on the handlebars, and stomp either pedal at the same time, which will whip the front end around almost instantly.

im tryin to land a 360 and i have problem but just try to keep them o and it will work and its harder to do it on flat go up your driveway or a hill or something

do you not know how to do a 360, 180, or ANYTHING that involves going on your front tire…?
